Mission Opportunities

In keeping with our mission, “Lighting the way to life by centering people on Christ,” we exist to reach out and help people who are seeking to find, renew, or strengthen a relationship with Jesus.

We support the American Baptist Churches USA by contributing to United Missions as well as giving to four mission offerings each year: America for Christ, One Great Hour of Sharing, World Missions, and the Retired Ministers and Missionaries offering.

First Baptist Church maintains several working relationships and partnerships with a variety of organizations that provide an evangelical voice and serve human need locally, nationally, and internationally.  We support projects and missionaries through volunteerism, prayer, and financial contribution.

Together, we can spread Christ's love to those in need, within Central Iowa and throughout the entire world.
