The Rev. Dr. Jay Thornton, Senior Pastor
The Rev. Dr. Jay Thornton, an ordained American Baptist minister, is senior pastor. He earned graduate and doctorate degrees in theology from Central Baptist Theological Seminary, Shawnee, Kansas. He has more than 13 years of church pastoral experience. He and his wife, Dawn, have twin teenage sons, Taylor and Riley.

Colby Gochanour, Choir Director
Our adult choir is directed by Colby Gochanour of Grimes, Iowa. Colby brings a decade of experience as well as an educational emphasis in leadership of church music ministries. He is a graduate of Grand View University and is an accomplished vocal and instrumental musician.
